Over the past 25+ years, Matt Walter has built and led digital, product, and technology initiatives in environments where execution and results mattered. He was part of the Direct business start-up at Progressive, helping scale a digital business from zero to more than $2B in revenue. That experience shaped his leadership approach, grounded in aligning strategy, technology, and customer experience to drive measurable business outcomes.
Most recently, at Sherwin-Williams, Matt served as a senior digital and technology leader overseeing a large, multi-year portfolio across global business units. He led CRM, customer experience, and digital platform modernization efforts; partnered closely with sales and marketing leadership; and helped simplify fragmented ecosystems while improving adoption, clarity, and impact. His role consistently bridged business priorities and technology execution.
Earlier leadership and advisory roles at MRI Software and Publicis Sapient further strengthened his ability to operate across industries and organizational models. What Matt brings to leadership roles is a rare combination of strategic perspective and hands-on execution, reducing complexity, aligning teams, and turning digital, data, CRM, and AI investments into real, sustained business results.
